Dr Robby Sehmi, a graduate of Trinity College Dublin, furthered his expertise by completing a Master’s in Implant Surgery at the Brener Implant Institute. In 2008, he founded Finesse Dental, focusing on full arch implants, cosmetic and restorative dentistry. Over the years, he has transformed the smiles of hundreds of patients with innovative treatments using the latest techniques and technology. Dr Sehmi also shares his knowledge as a lead trainer in dental implants and clear aligners, empowering other dentists in these fields. Known for his meticulous attention to detail and outstanding communication, Dr Sehmi excels in making anxious patients feel at ease. Beyond his professional life, he enjoys fitness, hiking, and art.
Dr Timothy Awad
Dentist
Dr Timothy Awad is the latest addition to the Finesse Dental team, having graduated from James Cook University in Cairns. He devoted his early career to providing dental and medical care in remote areas of Far North Queensland, including Cairns, Townsville, Barcaldine, and Mt Isa. He strongly focuses on personalising services to meet each patient’s unique needs. His expertise includes cosmetic dentistry, root canals, dentures, oral surgery, crowns and bridges, and educating children and patients about their oral health. In his leisure time, Dr Awad enjoys spending time with friends and family, surfing, snowboarding, and engaging in various sports such as basketball, soccer, and Oz Tag.
Hannah Lee
Oral Health Therapist
Hannah graduated with a Bachelor of Oral Health from the University of Sydney and completed the Extended Scope of Practice there. As a dual-qualified Dental Hygienist and Therapist, she provides cleans, periodontal treatments, and oral hygiene guidance and performs check-ups, x-rays, fillings, baby tooth extractions, and children's dentistry. Known for her gentle approach, she aims to ensure patient comfort while upholding the clinic’s high standards. Hannah is passionate about educating and motivating patients to prioritise preventative dental care for optimal oral health.
